Microsoft says that the game is the company's biggest third-party launch on Game Pass ever, and according to the developer, Pocketpair, Palworld has sold 12m copies on Steam and seven million copies on Xbox. Palworld uses Pokémon-like characters, which already has Nintendo lawyers raising eyebrows. Nintendo is reportedly investigating the game for signs of IP infringement, according to Engadget.
