Americans spend roughly $200B a year on dating, according to Match Group. In its Singles in America study, the company found that money was the biggest stressor for singles in the US in 2023. Today, an entire ecosystem of dating apps and online dating platforms exists to help you find “the one." According to Pew Research, a third of online daters in the US pay for a premium subscription.
