In late 2022, Adidas announced it was ending its partnership with Kanye West. The company lost roughly $790 million, partly because of the split. Fast forward to 2023, Bjøn Gulden becomes Adidas' new CEO. He's a former pro soccer player who worked for the company in the 90s. So what happened once he opened the gates to his direct line? He says he got about 200 calls a week from workers -- many requesting he reform the company. A year since joining, Gulden says the company is headed towards profitability, and shares have roughly doubled.
